Lyrics:
Ohm... Om Mani Padme Hum...
Hail the jewel in the lotus…
Purify your negative emotions…

One left a palace, his gold and his crown,
Siddhartha Gautama — as the Buddha we know.
One walked from wealth just to lay his pride down,
Mahatma Gandhi in a simple white gown.

Born into comfort but choosing the dust,
they traded their silver for mercy and trust.
They turned from the privilege given at birth
to stand with the broken and poor of the earth.

Born into comfort, but choosing the dust
To trade all their silver for mercy and trust
They walked away from the privilege of birth
To stand with the broken and poor of the earth

Oh, the peace weavers, walking the line
Sowing the seeds across space and time
From the riverbank to the prison stone
They showed us the world is a single home
With love as the armor, and truth as the light
They broke down the walls without a fight

Some knew the anger, the fire, the blade,
in Mandela’s militant, restless days.
They moved through the shadows where weapons were made,
but laid down the rifle and put out the spark,
to find a new pathway right through the dark.
From a Birmingham jail to a cage on the shore,
King and Mandela brought peace once more.

They all conquered the hatred by waging no war,
by turning inside to the soul they’d ignored.
They quieted the noise, faced the darkness alone,
and found their true self in the silence of home.

Oh, the peace weavers, walking the line
Sowing the seeds across space and time
From the riverbank to the prison stone
They showed us the world is a single home
With love as the armor, and truth as the light
They broke down the walls without a fight

When start making the world better,
Start with oneself.
Look into your heart,
Listen to your soul,
And ask yourself,
Am I doing it right?
They learned the path of peace.
Can you?

From palaces high to the radical cell
They conquered the darkness inside them as well
Four different lives from the edge to the start
Some thousands of years apart,
But all bound together by one human heart

Who will be the next weaver?

Forgive the oppressor, and set the soul free...

Ohm... Ohm...

Background:

Siddhartha Gautama left wealth to seek enlightenment and fight the caste system. Gandhi used nonviolent civil disobedience to free India from British rule. Martin Luther King Jr. adapted Gandhi’s methods to end US segregation and battle systemic racism. Nelson Mandela pivoted from armed resistance to peaceful democracy, enduring 27 years in prison to dismantle South African apartheid. Together, they proved that love, compassion, and reconciliation can shatter the world's most oppressive systems
